Pacific County is located right on the Pacific Ocean. Many of it's geographical features are water-based, such as the Willapa Bay, Long Beach or Cape Disappointment. South of the county is the Columbia River. The county is centered around the Willapa Bay, which is surrounded by the mainland and the Long Beach Peninsula. Long Island is located in the Willapa Bay as well.
Pacific County is usually overcast, especially in the fall. Rain is common in this region, and the sun is not out often. However, when the sun is out, it is a beautiful sight. The air is usually cold, but not to the point where it is a bother.
