Let's face it. If there's no source of entertainment in an area, then don't go there. Luckily, that's not the case in Pacific County. There is a bounty of places to visit.
Cape Disappointment State Park: Located southwest of Ilwaco, the Cape Disappointment State Park has the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse and many trails to hike on. Cape Disappointment is not disappointing.
Fort Columbia State Park: During 1896, Fort Columbia was built in Chinook to defend the Columbia River from intruders. Ultimately, it never saw battle.
Pacific County Historical Society and Museum: Want to learn about the history of Pacific County and the natives in it? Well, there's a whole museum dedicated to it.
